Jenice is a Latina EMDR & Neurofeedback therapist, specializing in childhood/generational trauma, grief and first responders. She is the founder of Sunlight Psychotherapy, a private practice providing in-person and virtual support to clients in Jersey City, and throughout NY & NJ. Her work is affirming of those belonging to marginalized communities, such as Immigrant, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and Neurodivergent.
In addition to utilizing EMDR & Neurofeedback to empower clients to quiet the noise in their mind and body, Jenice integrates DBT, Mindfulness, and Parts Work to tailor each session to her client.
In addition to traditional weekly/bi-weekly therapy sessions, Jenice also offers Adjunctive EMDR and EMDR Intensives.
When not meeting with clients, Jenice enjoys networking with other clinicians, spending time with her spouse and their 6 year old son, going to hot yoga, and basking in the sun like a cat.
