Sydney Seifert, LCSW, is a New York City–based psychotherapist and Clinical Director of Manhattan Mindful Psychotherapy, a boutique group practice specializing in depth-oriented, relational therapy.
Her work centers women navigating complex inner and relational worlds—those who are often highly capable on the outside but carry anxiety, trauma, grief, or longstanding patterns in love, family, and identity beneath the surface. Sydney is known for her ability to help clients move beyond insight alone and into meaningful, embodied change.
Her approach is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychodynamic and relational therapy, and trauma-informed care, with a focus on attachment, nervous system awareness, and the subtleties of the therapeutic relationship. She works extensively with individuals and couples, helping them understand patterns of desire, disconnection, and emotional intimacy.
Sydney brings particular depth to conversations around sexuality, identity, and the body, including work with LGBTQ+ clients, though her practice is broadly focused on the emotional and relational lives of women across identities and life stages.
As a supervisor and leader, she is deeply committed to cultivating thoughtful, attuned clinicians and creating spaces where both therapists and clients can engage in work that is nuanced, rigorous, and deeply human.
