Dr. Tracy Prout is co-owner/director of IMPACT Psychological Services. In addition to supervising in the postdoctoral program at IMPACT, Tracy works with adolescents, adults, families, and couples. Tracy’s therapeutic approach is warm and open. She generally practices psychodynamic psychotherapy but also integrates other therapeutic modalities. Her approach is flexible and tailored to suit the needs of each client. Tracy’s work is informed by her clinical experience and the latest in evidence based research. In addition to her private practice work, Tracy offers individual and group trainings in Regulation Focused Psychotherapy for Children (RFP-C), an evidence based psychodynamic intervention for school-aged children with disruptive behavior problems. She also provides deliberate practice coaching for clinicians across a wide range of disciplines. Tracy is the author of several books - including two books for APA (Deliberate Practice in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy and Deliberate Practice in Multicultural Therapy) and Manual of Regulation-Focused Psychotherapy for Children (RFP-C) with Externalizing Behaviors: A Psychodynamic Approach - as well as dozens of peer-reviewed papers.
