I work with clients who experience trauma, whether it is childhood sexual, physical, or emotional abuse, or more recent traumatic events. You might wish to forget about it by not talking about it, but it often comes back and “haunts” you. The best way to deal with a “ghost” is to talk about it and take away its power over you. It is normal that you want to avoid it. However, the worst part of Trauma is that it continues. I would like to help you work through it and separate the past from the present so you can move on with your life. I am also very much interested in working on Women’s Issues, life transitions, anxiety, and depression.

You might feel compelled to behave in certain ways, and you don't understand your thoughts, feelings, and actions. Together, we will explore what works for you and what doesn’t by listening and seeking understanding. I will help reflect on any parts you did not understand before. With more information about yourself, you will be able to make better choices. It takes great courage to seek help.

I strive to create a trusting, holding environment for my clients. I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist and psychoanalyst in training, and fluent in both English and Mandarin. I offer one to two sessions per week of psychotherapy, as well as three to four sessions per week of psychoanalysis.
