I am a psychotherapist and licensed master social worker with a virtual practice based in Brooklyn and Westchester. I specialize in grief and loss (including anticipatory, ambiguous and non-death losses), but other areas of focus include life transitions, career stress, parenting/caregiving, and trauma. My approach is rooted in psychodynamics and integrates somatics, mindfulness, IFS and DBT to best fit each client’s unique needs. My style has been described as warm, strengths-based and non-judgmental.

I received my clinical social work training at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and my BA in Psychology from Harvard College. I have provided individual and group therapy in private practice, community health agencies and outpatient partial hospitalization (PHP) hospital settings. A former architect, I continue to think creatively about how our micro and macro environments affect us and understand the toll that high pressure work environments can take on our mental health. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming and welcomes clients of all identities and backgrounds.
