Women’s Mental Health Consortium is excited to facilitate a Day of Service and Connection for our members across the tri-state area.
This organization-wide event is designed to bring WMHC members together to network and strengthen connections, while making a positive impact in our communities.
The Grant Committee has arranged volunteer opportunities in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. If you’re unable to attend one of these locations, we encourage you to participate in a volunteer event of your choice and join us in the spirit of service and connection. Spots are limited at some locations. Registration by 8/30 is required!
To participate, log into your WMHC account and follow these two steps:
- Click on the RSVP NOW! button below. (At the bottom of this page).
- Click on the Event Registration Form (Google Form) link and complete the form to specify which event you want to attend.

You will receive an email from your volunteer point of contact after the RSVP deadline of August 30th with more details and instructions.
NY: Cadman Park Conservancy
Cadman Park Conservancy: Cadman Park weeding, gardening and park clean up.

NJ: Brookdale Park Conservancy
Brookdale Park Conservancy: Park clean up, gardening, and some planting projects.
Location: 473 Watchung Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ 07003
Time: 10am-12pm

CT: Connecticut Foodshare
Connecticut Foodshare: Food and pantry item sorting for food boxes.
Location: 2 Research Parkway Wallingford, CT 06492
Time: 1:00pm-3:00pm
Number of spots: 10
Remote: Participate with an organization of your choice
