Join us for an afternoon of connection and learning with fellow WMHC members at our 4th annual in-person networking event. This event has been a hit for the last three years, and we are thrilled to host it again!
Event Overview
Upon arrival, we’ll have time to briefly mingle with fellow members before we begin a supported networking activity designed to foster meaningful new connections. We’ll then enjoy a 5-course Tony’s Di Napoli meal, during which Dvora Entin will present: Motherhood Interrupted: Recovery from PMADs. The afternoon will conclude with additional time to continue conversations and reconnect with each other.
Presentation
As women recover from a perinatal mood diagnosis the process must include an exploration of grief, a reckoning with “what just happened” and a reclamation of a new self and survivorship. Supported by clinicians, the pathway will include considerations around the motherhood narrative, the grieving of what was lost and the recurrence risk in future pregnancies.
Speaker
Dvora Entin, LCSW, CST, PMH-C is a clinician specializing in reproductive and perinatal mental health and sex therapy, with advanced training through Postpartum Support International, ASRM, and the MISS Foundation in bereavement care.
