Each of us holds an untapped reservoir of inner resources that, when accessed, can help us navigate life’s challenges and heal from past trauma. EMDR Resource Tapping is a simple yet powerful technique that promotes emotional regulation, resilience, creativity, and a deep sense of well-being—all essential qualities for mental health professionals. In this workshop, clinicians will learn how to use EMDR Resource Tapping as a tool for self-care and to strengthen the inner qualities that sustain their professional work as well as prevent burnout. Participants will also explore how to:
• Develop culturally sensitive resource strategies with clients
• Foster relational and interpersonal resource-building
• Teach clients to independently use EMDR Resource Tapping for personal growth and emotional resilience
This training is grounded in Resource Development and Installation (RDI) and the work of Dr. Laurel Parnell, who developed the EMDR Resource Tapping method.
