She earned her PhD at the University of Maryland at College Park, completed her internship training at the Baltimore VA Medical Center, and followed by a post-doctoral fellowship at the Bronx VA Medical Center. Dr. Leung has extensive training and experience in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for anxiety disorders, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, and trauma therapies including Prolong Exposure (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and STAIR NST. She has held faculty positions at the New York State Psychiatric Institute / Columbia University Medical Center, as well as New York University / Bellevue Hospital, where she trained and supervised predoctoral psychology interns and psychiatry residents. Dr. Leung is based in NYC where she has a private practice that offers virtual and in-person appointments.

Dr. Leung is passionate in helping people overcome fears, worries, trauma and OCD. Her interpersonal style is warm and collaborative.

In her personal life, she enjoys photography, traveling, making dumplings, and is a new football fan.
