Kelly Workman

Psychologist, PsyD, ABPP

Dr. Kelly Workman is a licensed clinical psychologist based in NYC. She utilizes science and compassion to provide cognitive, dialectical, and mindfulness-based behavior therapies through a secure telehealth platform. She specializes in treating transitional age youth and adults who struggle with trauma, chronic emotion dysregulation, assertive communication, identity, relationship concerns, and life transitions.

Dr. Workman is a DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified Clinician™ and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with specializations in clinical and applied behavior analysis. She is an adjunct assistant professor at Yale University School of Medicine where she supervises training clinicians and provides didactics.

I have been a faculty supervisor at the Mount Sinai World Trade Center Mental Health Program and the Therapists of NY group practice, and have taught classes on trauma, embodiment, and Existential psychology at The New School and CUNY. I am currently in private practice and supervising Ph.D. students at The New School.

I am a Columbia-trained Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in medication management for women’s-related psychiatric issues ranging from menses to menopause and everything in-between. I also see dads for male PMADs. Additional areas of interest include adult ADHD/executive dysfunction in adult professionals, acute mania, impulse control and psychotic disorders. In my private practice, Mindful Medication Psychiatry, I provide care virtually to patients in NY and NJ. In-person sessions can be arranged on an as-needed basis at locations throughout NY & NJ.

Liisa Murray

I am a board-certified music therapist (MT-BC) and licensed creative arts therapist (LCAT). I work from a foundation of person-centered and psychodynamic psychotherapy and emphasize trauma informed, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and culturally responsive care. As a person living in a larger body, I believe firmly in the right of every person to receive weight-neutral, size-inclusive care.

My work focuses on working collaboratively with clients to develop caring and compassionate relationships in a space of safety and healing. I utilize traditional talk therapy as well as working through recorded music, singing, improvisational music-making and instrument play to encourage creativity and enhance joy.

I have received advanced training in trauma and the arts from Kint Institute, had writing focused on several professional publications, and presented at national and regional conferences. Most recently, I was the co-author of a chapter in Creative Arts Therapies and the LGBTQ Community. I also run workshops and individual sessions utilizing singing as a form of wellness, and supportive groups for body neutrality/fat positivity.
