I am a licensed psychologist and an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, as well as an AASECT Certified Sex Therapy Supervisor. I have a private practice in NYC, where I work with individuals and couples across a wide variety of mental and sexual health concerns. I have masters and doctorate degrees in Counseling Psychology and have completed advanced training in sexual health and gender, including a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Program in Human Sexuality (now the Eli Coleman Institute for Sexual and Gender Health) at the University of Minnesota.

Ani Buk, MA, LP, LCAT is a Licensed and Board Certified Psychoanalyst and Art Therapist in private practice, working with children, adolescents, adults and couples.

Elisabeth is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She holds a BA with a major in Psychology from Emory University, and an MA from New York University's School of Social Work. She holds a post-graduate certificate in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from the New York Freudian Society and a certificate in Psychoanalysis from Contemporary Freudian Society. She is a Fellow of the International Psychoanalytic Association and a member of the National Association for Social Workers. In her private practice she offers individual, couples and family therapy, as well as supervision to other licensed clinicians.

Beth is a trauma-informed psychotherapist who works collaboratively, is goal-oriented and compassionate, integrating talk-therapy, EMDR and other evidence-based therapies with Contemplative Psychotherapy such as Mindfulness in the treatment of adults and older adults.

Her background in the international corporate sector and clinical mental health settings gives her insight into and the sensitivity to work with people from diverse backgrounds.

Dr. Hentel-Koplin has been in private practice in New York City for the past 20 years working with children, adolescents, and adults. Her practice includes psychotherapy, psychoeducational evaluations, comprehensive neuropsychological testing as well as parent guidance and school consultation. She also runs social skills groups. Dr. Hentel-Koplin also has served as a school psychologist at an independent school in NYC. She is aware of the unique challenges of raising families in NYC. As a mother of three, she also brings her own perspective and experiences to parenting.

Emily Upshur, Ph.D., is a New York State licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Upshur received her Master's degree in developmental psychology from Tufts University, and holds both a Master’s degree and PhD in Clinical Psychology from the Graduate School and University Center at the City University of New York, an American Psychological Association accredited training program.

Dr. Upshur currently has a faculty appointment at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital and is a Supervising Psychologist at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center, where she trains psychiatry residents, psychology interns, and psychology externs. She was the Clinical Director of the Center for Child Trauma and Resilience at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She has a private practice in Manhattan as well as Westchester, New York.

Dr. Upshur has a decade of experience working in a wide range of clinical settings, including hospital outpatient clinics, in-patient units, psychiatric emergency rooms, college and graduate student counseling programs, private psycho-educational and neuropsychological testing facilities, and faculty private practice. These experiences have given her the unique ability to meet the diverse needs of adults and children.

Sue Sugarman, MSW, LCSW-R, BCD, is a licensed clinical social worker with a rich background of over 25 years dedicated to working with children, adolescents, and families. Sue also has a subspecialty in working with youth athletes. She played a pivotal role in co-authoring the inaugural master's-level course in social work focused on the mental health of athletes. Since the spring of 2022, she has been imparting her expertise through the course "An Introduction to Mental Health in Athletes and Clinical Social Work" at NYU Silver School of Social Work. When collaborating with athletes, Sue places a strong emphasis on cultivating a high-performance mindset, recognizing its potential to be the defining factor between success and failure. This mental skill set encompasses goal setting, diligence in training, sustained motivation, and maintaining a positive outlook in the face of challenges or unmet expectations—all crucial components for fostering resilience.

Debaki Chakrabarti is a Clinical Psychologist in Midtown, Manhattan who specializes in addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, mindfulness, and grief. She enjoys working with adults in various life stages and has extensive experience working with a wide range of identities and cultures. Many of her clients are looking to address a specific issue (such as healing from a traumatic event or coping with substance use) but also find themselves working on other important aspects of their life including developing meaningful relationships and improving their communication. I have counseled adults for over 14 years in multiple treatment settings and have a private practice in NJ. I am licensed in both NJ and NY and am trained in mood and anxiety disorders. My practice is grounded in psychodynamic theory. I am also furthering my training in psychodynamic psychotherapy through the Contemporary Freudian Society in NYC.

Dr. Amanda Itzkoff is the Medical Director of NYC Private Psychiatry and Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Itzkoff has been deemed a Top 10 Doctor by Vitals(2014) and earned numerous Most Compassionate Doctor(2010-2016) and Patients’ Choice Awards(2008-2017) throughout her career.

Dr. Itzkoff treats patients with psychotherapy, medication, and interventional treatments including TMS and ketamine (not all of these modalities may be appropriate pregnant women, or those who are trying to conceive).
