Suzi Tortora

I am a NYS Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT). Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Board Certified Dance/Movement Therapist (BC-DMT), author and lecturer. In 2003, I created and continue to be the senior dance/movement therapist for pediatric patients at Integrative Medicine Service, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, NY. In private practice for almost 40 years, I developed and am director of Dancing Dialogue LCAT LMHC PLLC [www.dancingdialogue.com] a private creative arts psychotherapy practice with offices in Cold Spring, NY and NYC, specializing in the role of nonverbal communication and the body-mind-emotion connection. Collectively, our art, dance, and couples/family therapists focus on themes related to all aspects of the parent-infant attachment relationship from conception to postpartum; early parent-infant attachment; parenting in the digital age; sensory processing difficulties; ADHD; autism; child/teen and family dynamics; trauma; pediatric medical illness; adult chronic pain; grief and loss.

Ivy L. Margulies

Dr. Ivy Love Margulies is a licensed clinical psychologist and hypnotherapist who specializes in grief, loss, and trauma encompassing the entire spectrum of a woman’s reproductive and maternal mental health. This includes postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, birth trauma, NICU, pre-term labor, miscarriage, infertility, terminations for fetal anomaly or medical reasons (TFMR), stillbirth, infant death, high risk pregnancy, and pregnancy after loss. Dr. Ivy has a unique way of blending psychotherapy, trauma informed mindfulness, somatic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, ritual, reiki energy healing, and guided meditations to help facilitate and support women, couples and families. She also facilitates several support groups for women and couples for infertility, miscarriage, birth trauma, termination for medical reasons, pregnancy after loss, pregnancy after 40 years old, and a stillbirth couples group.

My specialty is working with women and queer folks in their 20's-30's who may appear successful or high functioning externally, but are struggling inside. Commonly I see depression, anxiety and ADHD or other neurodivergences that manifests in these clients in the form of harsh self talk or self doubt, despite the things they've achieved. Many of the clients I see have experienced traumas and benefit from a relational approach and my use of EMDR.

Dr. Rosenthal is a licensed clinical psychologist who works with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and difficult life transitions. She has specific expertise in treating all manifestations of OCD. She also works with new parents finding their way through parenthood, including those struggling with anxiety and intrusive thoughts during pregnancy and in the postpartum period.
