Dr. Charnas is in private practice on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. She treats young adults and adults with depression, anxiety, social, occupational, and interpersonal difficulties, relationship and adjustment problems, phase-of-life issues, and maladaptive behaviors. Dr. Charnas is active, relatable, and directive, emphasizing patient strengths and adaptive functioning. Treatment is focused on the here-and-now, but historical experiences and relationships are explored with the purpose of gaining insight into present conflicts.

I’m a clinically trained psychotherapist with 19 years of experience specializing in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, and Structural Family Therapy with individuals, couples and families. I’m licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist and practice in NY, NJ, and PA, with a West Midtown Manhattan office and virtual sessions offered. My primary areas of expertise include depression and anxiety management, trauma recovery, relationship stress, and navigating life transitions.

Tara Starin-Basi, LCSW-R

As a trauma therapist who works with individuals, couples and (co)parents, some of the modalities that I have received training in and that I pull from in sessions include: EMDR, Internally Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. Yung Park

Physician, M.D.

Dually-boarded in Internal Medicine & Psychiatry, with a fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine & Consult-Liaison Psychiatry completed at Yale, Dr. Park has spent over 15-years practicing in both these areas within the hospital and outpatient setting, including the Women's Mental Wellness center at Yale's Smillow Cancer Center. Through her practice, she has come to recognize that the mind and body are intrinsically connected. Each directly amplifies the other when off-balance or when in-sync.

Montie Mills Meehan

Ann R. Cohen, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist with an independent practice, treating children, adolescents and adults in New York City. She is a graduate of Cornell University, with honors in Human Development and Family Studies. After receiving her doctorate in psychology from Hofstra University, she completed a two year postdoctoral fellowship with Albert Ellis, specializing in cognitive behavior therapy.

Dr. Erban is a bilingual English-Spanish licensed clinical psychologist with a private practice in the Upper West Side. She also is the primary psychologist in the NYP-CUMC Washington Heights Youth Anxiety Center and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medical Psychology (in Psychiatry) at Columbia University Medical Center.
