NYC based psychotherapist specializing in working with individuals and couples at quarterlife (roughly in their 20s to late 30s).
Clinical Social Work/Therapist, DSW, LCSW
I've been in private practice since 1999, working with adolescents and adults of all ages in individual, couples, and group therapy. I have a special interest in working with college students, recent college graduates, and emerging adults. I also provide clinical supervision to psychotherapists at varied stages of practice and experience, including candidates pursuing psychoanalytic training, LMSWs working toward New York State licensure, and seasoned social workers, psychologists, and psychoanalysts.
I hold a Doctorate of Social Welfare (DSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work, where I also became certified in social work field instruction. I holds a Certificate in Psychoanalysis from the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Study Center (PPSC), and am a graduate of The Women’s Therapy Centre Institute (WTCI), which trains clinicians to help women with eating problems and body image issues.
Psychologist
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist offering therapy and psychological assessments in New York and Virginia. You’ve accomplished a lot, but lately you feel anxious, drained, or disconnected from yourself. You may carry invisible burdens or the pressure to always be “strong.” You want to feel grounded, confident, and at peace in your body, your relationships, and decisions. My clients are often ambitious women, including Black women, women of color, or immigrants who are ready to heal and grow on their own terms.
In therapy, I provide culturally affirming, trauma-informed care grounded in evidence-based approaches, including CBT, mindfulness, and relational work. Our sessions are a space to slow down, make sense of what’s weighing on you, and build practical tools for clarity, boundaries, and emotional balance.
I also offer specialized psychological assessments, including ADHD evaluations and forensic immigration evaluations. My assessment work is thorough, ethical, and carefully documented, with attention to both clinical accuracy and your lived experience.
Therapy should feel like a place where you can exhale. If you’re ready to feel more grounded, confident, and aligned with yourself, I’d be honored to work with you.
