Katrina Furey

Dr. Katrina Furey is a Yale trained board-certified psychiatrist specializing in women’s mental health and reproductive psychiatry. Dr. Furey spends most of her time treating patients in her private practice, Sound Psychiatry LLC in Guilford, Connecticut, where she is one of the only psychiatrists in the state offering psychotherapy, medication management, and expert consultation for women with depression, anxiety, PMDD, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (including OCD), birth trauma, and menopausal mood and anxiety disorders. She also consults for Connecticut’s Access Mental Health for Moms hotline and is the creator of Repro Psych Academy, a comprehensive series of online courses designed to empower ALL healthcare providers to feel more confident in diagnosing and managing women’s mental health conditions related to hormonal shifts from menses to menopause.

Dr. Gupta is the Founder and CEO of Wellness Psychiatry, a private practice dedicated to empowering women through compassionate, evidence-based care. His expertise includes treating depression, anxiety, trauma, postpartum disorders, and stress-related conditions unique to women’s lives. He has held leadership roles in national psychiatric organizations and contributed to major educational and clinical initiatives. A former Harvard Medical School faculty member, he integrates academic rigor with a warm, patient-centered approach. He is passionate about providing culturally attuned care for diverse women, including professionals, creatives, mothers, and caregivers. In addition to clinical work, he advocates for holistic and lifestyle-based interventions to support women’s emotional resilience. Paula received her master’s degree from New York University. She received her post-graduate certifications from The Integrative Psychiatry Institute and the Parnell Institute for EMDR.
