Laura B. Kestemberg

Psychologist, Ph.D.

My career in mental health as a licensed psychologist spans more than 25 years and includes various professional roles which include running my private practice, working as a university professor, and at different points, as a clinician, clinical supervisor or director in various NYC hospitals, schools, and community clinics. My professional background of direct service, scholarly work, and teaching at the graduate and doctoral level has given me a well-rounded perspective when working alongside my patients. I feel fortunate that due to my training I can provide the most effective, cutting edge, and evidence-based techniques to my patients. I work hard to empower individuals to effectively reach their goals and gain insight into what is most concerning them. On a personal level, I am multilingual and multicultural, and I often work with clients who are navigating the intersections of their various identities related to their family of origin, culture, and religion, as well as their race, gender and sexual identity. My style is warm, down-to-earth, direct and interactive. I work with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages, either in person or through virtual sessions. I work with couples as well as individuals.

Samantha Southard

Mental Health Counselor, LMHC

Hi there! My name is Samantha, aka The Blonde Therapist, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in New York. I believe in challenging the notion of a "blank slate therapist, and encompass my own personality into my role as a therapist. Robin Kerner

Psychologist, Ph.D.

I am a clinical psychologist and have been in practice for over 25 years. I work primarily with adults struggling with a variety of life issues and transitions, including relationships, career, anxiety, and depression. I am very engaged with my patients and take a fairly active and relational approach in our work together. I believe in focusing on strengths to help individuals and couples achieve their goals and feel connected.

Julie Iannone

Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW-R

I am trained in both the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), two evidence-based approaches to couples work. Together, they give me a rich framework for helping couples feel truly heard, have better conversations, and rebuild the connection, friendship, trust, and intimacy that brought them together in the first place, including rediscovering the lightness and fun that can get lost over time.
The same principles that guide my couples work inform my approach with individual clients as well, because how we relate to others is inseparable from how we understand ourselves.
