Ali Swoish

My clinical work is grounded in disability justice & the neurodiversity paradigm. Taken together, these movements teach us that diversity of bodies & brains are essential to the human experience. I specialize in complex trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, identity exploration & transitional stress. I have a particular passion for working with performers, including dancers, actors & other creatives, as well as athletes.

I approach therapy from a relational psychodynamic perspective, meaning I help clients understand how past relationships & early experiences shape their current emotional well-being, relationships & sense of self. My commitment to intersectionality, accessibility & autonomy means that I tailor my approach to each individual’s unique identities & desires.

Andrea F. Gerber

Psychologist, Ph.D.

Dr. Andrea Gerber is a clinical psychologist with specialized training in the treatment of eating disorders, substance use disorders, anxiety, and depression. She utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing (MI) and mindfulness-based approaches to reduce symptoms, gain insight into underlying causes and bring about lasting change.

Dr. Gerber received a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Boston and a masters degree in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University. She completed a predoctoral internship at the New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and a postdoctoral fellowship specializing in the treatment of eating disorders at the New York University Counseling and Behavioral Health Service.

I am an empathic, interactive psychologists and work with clients to engage in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Inference-Based CBT (ICBT), and mindfulness and self-compassion. I've treated OCD since 2003 and have worked successfully with many clients who have a variety of obsessional content. I enjoy collaborating with treatment providers to support my clients. My practice is fully virtual.

Suparna Basu

Originally from Delhi, India, Dr. Basu completed her medical training in Nepal before relocating to the United States for a psychiatric residency at North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital. She started the outpatient psychiatric department at Baylor University in Irving, TX, and taught psychiatry to medical students at Texas A&M before moving into private practice.

Dr. Basu believes that building human connection is a critical aspect of practicing successful evidence-based medicine. She sees mental health as more than just the presence of specific symptoms, a diagnosis, or the medication her patients may decide to take. She gives clients the time, space, and non-judgmental attention they need during periods of crisis and enjoys collaborating with fellow clinicians, especially therapists, who she sees as an invaluable part of treatment.

Kiley Callahan

I’m New York-based psychologist and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

I work individually with adults and adolescents and specialize in anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, and insomnia/sleep difficulties. I also work with clients on relationship challenges, life transitions, lifestyle changes, grief and loss, and academic or work stressors. I have a special interest in supporting healthcare workers, parents of adolescents and young adults, and individuals whose loved ones are experiencing mental health difficulties.

I have formal training in evidence-based treatments, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). In addition to private practice, I currently serve as a psychologist for the Center for Stress, Resilience, and Personal Growth at Mount Sinai where I provide mental health services to healthcare workers and their families.

I earned my bachelor’s degree at Boston College and my doctorate at Loyola University Chicago. I completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship at a therapeutic day school in Chicago, IL and my post-doctoral fellowship at MindWell NYC, a group private practice in New York, NY specializing in DBT treatment.

I believe that our relationship to our bodies is reflective of how we feel about ourselves. I strongly believe that when our eating habits, sleep patterns and activities of daily living are not well regulated we may feel more anxious, more stressed and have difficulty navigating experiences in our relationships and day to day interactions with others.
I integrate mindfulness as well as other scientifically backed psychotherapy approaches into my clinical work to help my clients feel calmer and more satisfied and more centered in their lives. I can help you to feel more comfortable and at ease in your body and mind and find new and healthier ways to deal with stress and difficult feelings.
My approach is active, collaborative, and results driven. I provide my clients with the skills to overcome their anxiety, depression, and fears in order to help them live more satisfying, and enjoyable lives.
