Symonne Kennedy

Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW

As a Black, Queer, Femme, I know that a person can hold many identities, some more front-facing than others. The way we hold and view ourselves (or are viewed by others) can often be accompanied by feelings of guilt, shame, anxiety and/or depression. Whether you are struggling with your mental health, your relationships, your own identity or a loved one’s, my goal is to establish an open and compassionate space for you to feel safe sharing your experiences. Together we will work to use your strengths to uncover, reconstruct or renew your capacity for self-love and build a supportive, enjoyable and sustainable way of life that works for you.

I am an active therapist with a pragmatic, client-centered approach to my work. I like to cultivate a safe holding space for everyone I work with to express their feelings freely and without judgment.
My previous experience has been in working with LGBTQI- identified individuals as well as individuals living with HIV, Herpes, cancers, and other chronic illnesses.

Jordanne Sculler

Mental Health Counselor

I’m passionate about helping my clients connect: with me, with the people in their lives, and, most importantly, with themselves.
As an NYU graduate and New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor and psychotherapist, I view therapy as a profound learning experience. I help individuals and couples connect with their resilience, learn new coping skills, and cultivate the relationships they want (and deserve).
Above all, I help my clients get comfortable with being uncomfortable. After all, you can’t grow if you’re stuck in the same old patterns and behaviors.
